Privacy Policy
Daily Doodle (playdailydoodle.com) is run by Soft Sync Solutions LLC ("we"). We collect as little as we can.
Playing
You don't need an account. The first time you visit, your browser gets a random ID in a cookie, so we can recognise it when you come back. It isn't linked to your name, email or phone.
To run the games, we store on our server: the name you type when you start or join a page, your drawings, your ink and colour choices, and your Daily Round drawings with the AI's guess and result. These are tied to that random ID. Shared pages (Team Draw and Challenge Round) can be seen by anyone with their link, and they don't expire.
Like any website, our server briefly keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
The AI in Daily Round
When you finish a Daily Round drawing, we send a picture of it to our AI provider, Anthropic (privacy policy), which guesses what it shows. Only the drawing is sent: not your name, your ID or the day's word. Drawings from Team Draw and Challenge Round are never sent to the AI.
Daily Doodle+
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe gives us your email, the phone number you enter at checkout and your subscription status, and it keeps its own records under its privacy policy.
We use your phone number for one thing: to text you a sign-in code through Twilio (privacy policy) when you ask to unlock Daily Doodle+ on a new device. We don't send marketing texts, and we never sell or share your number for marketing. Message and data rates may apply.
Cookies, fonts and trackers
We use two cookies: dd_device, the random ID above, and dd_plus, which a browser that has paid for Daily Doodle+ holds so we know it belongs to a subscriber. Your browser's own storage remembers your name and pen colour on that device, and that never leaves it.
The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads (privacy policy). We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers above, as needed to run the service, or when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting data
Drawings, names and Daily Round results stay on our server until we delete them. To have a page or your drawings deleted, contact us. To delete what's stored on your device, clear this site's data in your browser. Subscription and payment records stay with Stripe for as long as Stripe and the law require. Daily Doodle is for people 13 and older and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
